When asked at the time how frequently she feels overwhelmed with her role as a mother, her response was, ‘I think every day.’
‘I think when you put them to bed, it’s extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about
what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make,’ Chopra said further. ‘But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family.’
‘As I take in the sight of [my daughter’s] grin, I find myself thinking, ‘Okay, okay. ‘Right now, I’m feeling pretty good,’ she said. ‘It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary.’
Having tied the knot in December 2018, the pair became parents to Malti via the use of a surrogate on January 15, 2022.
