For ten whole years, only his fellow countrymen, the inhabitants of the Basque Country, knew about Andoni Bastarric’s talent, for the entertainment of whom he made his sand sculptures.

And then someone posted several photos on the Reddit portal and fame covered him. Let’s say frankly deservedly so, because work of this level is rare.

Initially, Bastarrika simply sculpted large figures from sand to amuse the children. But he soon realized that this fascinated him more than he expected.

The man discovered the talent of an artist, a creator, began to invent new methods of working with sand, study the material and art.

He grew above himself and was inspired by new works. Ten years is a long time, but Andoni’s achievements are visible to the naked eye.

However, he is very modest and does not seek fame, in particular, he is in no hurry to participate in official competitions for creating sand sculptures.

Only recently, when photos of his works began to be reposted on social networks, the sculptor began working with people, in particular, conducting master classes on sand sculpting.

The main tool is your own hands, which do 99% of the work. We can stop here, formally the sculpture is ready, but this is where the secret is hidden.
