That’s what Nick Tate’s foster mother did for him when he supported her at an extremely trying time.

When he paid for her shopping like a knight in shining armor, she was met with a barrage of angry looks and comments from all directions, according to KFOR.

A twenty-year-old male shown the consideration that so many adults neglected to show a mother raising two children. The entire event happened in 2017.

The Walmart in Newcastle, Oklahoma is where the entire incident happened. Tate enjoyed his job as a cashier primarily because of the individuals he encountered there.

Whenever someone showed up in front of his kiosk, the man made sure to say hello. I love being around people.

I simply enjoy talking to individuals, finding out about their days, and checking in with them,’ Tate remarked.

Walmart always has a crowd because it rarely goes empty, but he always had a friendly smile and was willing to help everyone.

Even though he encounters hundreds of people every day, some of them simply stick in his head. He met a foster mother on a Friday, who was one of them.

‘She was coming through with a baby and two small girls.’ Tate remarked, ‘The two little girls were just going crazy.’

‘So, I looked at her and said, ‘One of those days?’’ She was clearly becoming overwhelmed trying to handle everything at once.

It was challenging for the woman to bill because it was her first time utilizing a WIC.
The California Department of Public Health states that WIC is a federal program designed to assist low-income families having children.

However, not every brand is covered by this plan. Chaos resulted from the mother bringing a lot of items that the WIC did not authorize.

While she was taking her time to figure things out, people behind her started to complain. This was making everything a mess, especially with the mischievous behavior of her foster children.

‘We gave it another go, but the WIC wasn’t working. Tate remarked, ‘I just felt like God was telling me to just pay for it.’

So he took a step forward and handed them $60 for the formula and groceries. Though it was the equivalent of a full day’s salary,

he knew deep down that it was the proper thing to do to assist the woman in front of her. The publication awarded him the ‘Pay It 4ward Award’ in recognition of his thoughtfulness.
