Mercer and Mancini’s ‘Moon River’ is a well-known composition. It was performed by Audrey Hepburn in the film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’ which you might recall.
Many people find ‘Moon River’ meaningful because it evokes emotions they’ve never experienced before, such as desire, love, and hope.
You have to admit that even a dog like Sharky could identify with the meaning of the song. Love,
particularly from people, is something that dogs desire. These cute, clingy animals desire nothing more than to be held and cuddled by their owner.
Barton and his daughter’s ability to control Sharky for more than two minutes is incredible.
Barton begins the song on the piano, then a few seconds later, his daughter plays the saxophone.
Their melodic harmonies are so peaceful that they almost sound like they are coming from above.
Sharky, meantime, is content to sit and appreciate his humans’ gift of music. He obviously enjoys playing with Barton and his daughter, even though we’re not really sure what he’s feeling at the moment!
