Odell discloses that he and his spouse are the happy parents of five adorable little ones in a YouTube video. He works the overnight shift at security at the Dallas airport to support them.

However, Odell wants more because he and his family reside in a motel. He believes that he and his family can do that through music. Odell might be right after his amazing American Idol audition!

The father of five received numerous remarks and praises from all of the judges over his audition. But Katy paid him the sweetest, most sincere praise.

Katy remarked, ‘I think you’re the best soul singer we have this season.’Luke and Lionel concur with Katy’s evaluation. Luke claimed that while listening to Odell, he even experienced chills.

Odell is one step closer to providing his family with the better life he envisions for them as he travels to Hollywood.
