In 2010, the highly regarded reality television program ‘The Voice’ made its debut in the Netherlands.
John de Mol invented the format, which soon became well-known throughout the world and led to the adaptation of the show in many different nations.
The idea of ‘The Voice’ is a singing competition where hopeful singers try out for a panel of well-known music business professionals who serve as coaches.
The distinctive blind audition method of ‘The Voice’ is what distinguishes it from other singing competitions.
With their backs to the candidates, the coaches make judgments during the blind auditions based only on the vocalists’ caliber.
The coaches and the audience enjoy an objective and engrossing experience since talent is prioritized before appearance.
The number of judges’ chairs that turn for the performer and the speed at which they do so are two factors that set the competitors apart.
A ‘four-chair’ turn is highly regarded as a sign of a competitor with high aspirations; it’s much better if all four judges turn at once.
The fastest four-chair spin in the history of the program is demonstrated in this video. It belonged to Anthony Riley,
who in just four seconds turned all four judges’ chairs with just three lines from the James Brown hit ‘I Got You’ from 1965.
Regretfully, Anthony left the competition early for personal reasons before the season ended and killed himself a year after making his debut,
despite having accomplished that achievement and stunning everyone through the battle rounds. However,
both his performance and his lasting influence on people who knew him endure. Please watch the entire movie below and let us know what you thought by posting a Facebook comment!
