At the Back to Black premiere, Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson were on a date night!
The international premiere of Sam,57,’s biography about Amy Winehouse took place at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London, where the parents of four went out together.
The film’s title, which is derived from the name of the late British singer’s album and song, served as inspiration for their approach.
Sam wore black peep-toe sandals and a basic, form-fitting black dress with structural features. Aaron, 33, looked striking in an all-black outfit that featured a leather jacket.
The couple, who are both remaining silent about it, went public amid speculation that Aaron had signed a contract to play the renowned fictional spy James Bond.
On an episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Sam recently addressed rumors that her husband would replace Daniel Craig, who played James Bond in five different movies between 2006 and 2021, according to The Independent.
Do you mean that I could helm a James Bond movie? The director of Fifty Shades of Grey jokingly said, ‘The first woman director,’ before continuing to speculate. He would be fantastic.
The Kick-Ass star was allegedly offered a contract to portray 007, according to reports that first surfaced in mid-March.
But in a Rolling Stone UK interview a few days after The Sun published its story, he sidestepped the topic.
In response to a question concerning persistent Bond casting rumors, he stated, ‘I can only really talk about the things I’m going to show and tell.’ Thus, Kraven the Hunter, Nosferatu, and The Fall Guy. I am here to advocate for those.
Aaron defended his relationship with Sam in that same Rolling Stone UK interview, saying that their age difference had drawn criticism to their relationship.
‘You’re acting too hastily in favor of someone else? That’s not clear to me,’ he remarked. ‘At what pace should you live your life? I find it strange.’
‘What you gotta realize is that what most people were doing in their twenties, I was doing when I was 13,’ Aaron subsequently remarked on his professional life.
Written by Matt Greenhalgh, Back to Black portrays Marisa Abela as Winehouse, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 27.
Eddie Marsan, Juliet Cowan, Lesley Manville, and Jack O’Connell are also included in the cast. On May 17, it opens in American theaters.
