Tom Selleck, 79, has accomplished a lot in his life. He has starred in multiple television shows,
married the love of his life, became a father, and been dubbed the ‘Sexiest Man Ever’ by his devoted followers.
But there is one thing Selleck has yet to accomplish, and it is astonishing that the Blue Bloods actor has gotten this far in 2024.
While promoting his memoir, which is slated to be published on May 7, Tom Selleck confessed that he normally avoids technology.
‘Occasionally I’ve looked up my name,’ he told People. ‘That began with the book, but I have never sent my own email. I had a secretary. I’ve never texted somebody.
Jillie, his wife of 36 years, now sends texts for him.
Selleck remarked, ‘I probably couldn’t survive without this particular pleasure. However, I’m not sure. It’s strange for a guy peddling a book, yet I have trouble writing things down.
In his autobiography, You Never Know, Selleck describes his journey from the beginning of his acting career—which he admits he wasn’t always passionate about—to his present situation.
In his book, Selleck describes how his narrative is different from many others in that he simply sought regular work and wasn’t ‘bitten by the acting bug.’
He claims, ‘I don’t have the hooks that a lot of people do.’ ‘I didn’t have this horrible life or work on myself. Although I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs, I’ve been really blessed.
