In the United States, where many graduate from university with significant debt, 25-year-old Joel Werber decided that he did not want to pull the credit burden. This Texas University student found a very unusual way out of the situation…
The guy decided to independently build a small house in which he could live comfortably while studying. Joel thought through the design of his future home and went to the hardware store.
It took 20 thousand dollars to build a small student shack with everything needed inside. A lot of money,
for a room of 14 square meters, you say. However, for rented housing and even a dorm room, Joel would have to pay even more.
‘I saved a little. What I lacked was given by relatives, friends and neighbors,’ Werber admitted to ABC TV.
‘I did the project, and then brought in a carpenter and an electrician, who took the time to help.’
The guy admits: ‘I knew I was taking a risk, but all the investments were worth it!’
Of course, lovers of spacious living will not like this option. However, our hero leads a very active lifestyle, and this is the best option for him.
