Being an adult comes with a lot of benefits, one of which is, in my opinion, the ability to do anything, whenever you want.
This includes styling your hair whatever you choose, dressing however you see fit, and deciding how you want to show the world who you are.
We all enjoy and profit from this liberty. Still, not many of us are as creative as Australian twentysomething Amber Luke, whose peculiar objective is to get every inch of her body covered with tattoos.
According to accounts, Amber started tattooing when she was sixteen years old, and her obsession with body painting has grown to be a central part of her existence.
Amber claims to have shelled out an astonishing $120,000 to change herself into the “Dragon Girl” over the years.
And the procedure hasn’t gone smoothly. Actually, quite the opposite: when she inked her eyeballs a few years ago, things nearly went horribly wrong.
Sadly, my artist pierced my eyeball too deeply. I spent three weeks without sight. That was quite harsh, she remembered.
Amber used to resemble the average blonde girl next door, but she’s done so much body alteration that she’s almost unrecognizable now.
In addition to getting her eyeballs (and pretty much every exposed skin area) tattooed, she also had her tongue surgically forked.
The Daily Mail claims that the inhabitant of Brisbane, Australia has spent $120,000 on body changes, including $70,000 on surgery and $50,000 on almost 600 tattoos.
While some may find Amber’s unusual appearance unsettling, she maintains that her change has been crucial in keeping her from committing suicide or living a life of sadness.
‘I was so catatonically depressed, suicidal, and a walking dead girl,’ she said in her explanation. I had no feeling.
The bulk of the time, I deeply loathed myself. It haunted me. I am now a completely different person that I am proud of. I’m a strong lady who is confident in her identity and desires.
A few years back, Amber shared a number of images of herself that showed her appearance before she started altering her physique. and it’s fair to say that the outcomes are startling.
After receiving criticism, according to Amber, she never gave up on her ambition to use body art as a means of self-expression.
Although it may not be to everyone’s taste, the most important thing is that she should feel content and at ease in her own flesh!
