The Boy Band’s first note made the judges change their minds even though they didn’t “expect much” from them.

The judges’ first thoughts on a bunch of young guys called ‘Collabro’ when they performed on Britain’s Got Talent were everything but positive.

They first gave off the impression of being just another boy band, a look that has probably been done to death in the music industry.

They identified themselves and talked about their daily jobs as workers, hospital employees, and gas station attendants.

Interestingly, not one of them had any experience with professional music.

The group’s admission that they had barely been harmonizing for a month only served to increase the judges’ mistrust.

Amanda Holden appeared to wince, possibly due to feelings of mutual shame, while Simon Cowell couldn’t contain his cynicism and responded with a rolling of his eyes.

But as soon as Collabro started playing, the mood completely changed.

Rather than opting for a conventional pop song or a stylized dance, they choose the difficult ‘Stars’ from the renowned musical, Les Misérables.

Every member displayed his distinct vocal abilities, ranging from rich and rich tones to a variety of ranges.

The entire theater was standing by the time they finished their performance.

The yells and thunderous applause were deafening.

Even Holden, who had been doubtful before, couldn’t help but leap to his feet in celebration of their performance.
