30 years after the premiere of the action film ‘Speed’, Keanu Reeves wants to film the third part of the franchise.
In the first film, Reeves played Los Angeles police officer Jack Traven and Sandra Bullock played bus passenger Annie Porter.
‘Speed’ premiered in 1994, and a sequel was released in 1997, although Reeves did not appear there and the film failed at the box office.
Reeves and Bullock appeared together on the ‘50 MPH’ podcast, and Reeves revealed that he turned down an offer to star in ‘Speed 2’ after reading the script because ‘it just didn’t feel right.’
‘Before we die, before we leave this planet, I think Keanu and I should do something on camera,’said Bullock.
‘It seems like this is some kind of signal that something hasn’t been done,’ Reeves added, ‘I would love to work with Sandra again.’
While there is no official project, fans can continue to hope that Reeves and Bullock will join forces for another action-packed adventure.
