Kevin Costner’s Horizon.American Saga’ passed its first screening at the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival. After the premiere, the audience gave the director a standing ovation for 10 minutes.

The film could be a big hit for Costner, who not only stars in it, but also serves as director, producer and co-writer along with Job Byrd.

It was a special and emotional moment for Costner, who broke down in tears during the standing ovation after the premiere.

He noted that he will ‘never forget’ that experience.‘I’m sorry that you had to applaud me for so long to understand that I have to perform,’ the actor joked.

‘How nice of you, people. This is such a good moment not only for me, but also for the actors who came with me, the people who believed in me and continued to work.’

Then he started blowing kisses to the audience, who were still applauding.This moment was special for the actor, because five of his seven children were also present at the festival and the exhibition.
