Notably, «×» and another record, which rank 20 and 34 respectively, have gained seats on the list of the UK’s best-selling albums.

His achievements are ongoing; in December 2019, the Official Charts Company named him the Artist of the Decade.

His incredible accomplishments in the UK album and singles charts over the 2010s demonstrated his lasting influence, and he was rightfully awarded this distinction.

During his visit on The Ellen Show, 8-year-old Kai was in for a really amazing surprise. Unaware that the pop singer himself was there,

watching him play, he stepped to the stage and began to sing Ed Sheeran’s song with enthusiasm. Ed Sheeran sauntered out of the dressing area and positioned himself on stage just behind Kai, giving the whole thing a theatrical feel.

The young, gifted child gave a riveting performance of ‘Thinking Out Loud,’ putting a great deal of emotion and passion into each note.

The audience found it quite difficult to remain neutral. They didn’t want to blow the surprise, though. Kai’s expression upon seeing Ed Sheeran was absolutely amazing.
