Thankfully, he had a stunning recovery. Combs lost 400 pounds by starting an exercise program and following a healthy diet.

He weighed 540 pounds when he took the stage at The X Factor, and his wife had to wheel him onto the platform.

The sight of a guy in a wheelchair startled the audience, but when Freddie started to sing, their amazement changed to awe.

Everyone, including the judges, was charmed with his performance of Bette Midler’s ‘Wind Beneath My Wings.’

Freddie dedicated the show to his sixteen-year wife. Despite his passing a little more than a year ago,
