There is a brief video that was shared on social media that shows what is perhaps one of the most terrifying sights that a homeowner may see: an alligator waiting right outside their door.

Seeing anything like that would lead the majority of people to run away, yelling in the opposite direction, and putting up a sign in their yard that said they were selling something.

An alligator is the last thing anyone wants to experience! On the other hand, the courageous beagle that was seen in the video did not appear to be the least bit terrified by the presence of the scaly and vicious beast.

The canine rushes up to the screen, catches sight of the alligator, and immediately begins to let out a loud bark at the enormous creature. Because the dog is aware that this is its territory, it will do everything in its power to safeguard it.

It is not necessary for the dog to put up much of a fight, however. The alligator makes a beeline for the opposite direction as soon as the dog begins to make a barking sound.

It goes so quickly that it is somewhat surprising that it did not leave a trail of smoke, much like cartoon characters do when they move quickly.

the alligator continued to move at a substantial speed. It was clear that it did not want to interact with the dog.
