If you watch only one video today, watch Coldplay’s performance with Michael J. Fox.

The British rock band performed at Glastonbury over the weekend, and the 63-year-old veteran graced the stage with them.

Fox played guitar for Coldplay on the songs ‘Humankind’ and ‘Fix You.’The highlight of the weekend wasn’t Coldplay,

who became the first artist to headline the enormous UK music festival for the sixth time on Saturday.

It was the presence of a very significant guest—Michael J. Fox—who, according to frontman Chris Martin, sparked the band’s career.

After receiving a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 1991, Fox performed with Coldplay on two of their singles live.

In front of the 100,000 concertgoers, Martin congratulated Fox after their performance. Martin stated, ‘Watching ‘Back to the Future’ is the main reason why we’re in a band.’

‘So, Mr. Michael J. Fox, our hero and one of the most incredible people on the planet, thank you so much for being our hero for eternity.’

After the band’s performance, the actor paid respect to the group on social media. ‘Sending out love to Glastonbury and giving a big thank you to the @coldplay staff for looking after us so well.

And many thanks to Guy, Phil, Will, Johnny, Chris, and Guy,’ Fox wrote next to a photo carousel. ‘Oh, just in case you were curious…It was really astounding.

Every band has its moment, and every time has its band. It’s @coldplay’s moment. Fox and Coldplay previously collaborated in 2016 during one of the rock group’s New Jersey concerts.
