Fans are once again questioning Zac Efron’s appearance after he seemed to change considerably in his most recent film.
Following the actor’s appearance in his new Netflix film, ‘A Family Affair,’ which also stars Nicole Kidman and Joey King, social media was ablaze with commentary on his dramatically changed appearance.
‘Whatever became to Zac Efron? Using a screenshot of the 36-year-old actor from the movie, a fan posted on X (previously Twitter) on Sunday, saying, ‘He looks like a whole different person.’
Another fan wrote, ‘I felt compelled to study Zac Efron’s extreme new face in more detail after seeing it.’
‘I’m having a really difficult time watching ‘A Family Affair.’’ How the hell did Zac Efron damage his face? Another viewer tweeted, ‘I’ve tried, but I can never get used to staring at it.
Nicole Kidman, 57, was subjected to comparable criticism because of her role in the movie. ‘I can’t stop staring at Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron’s terrible plastic surgery while watching #AFamilyAffair on Netflix.’
One tweet said, ‘Neither of them looks like themselves.’ ‘What in the world happened to Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron’s faces?’ exclaimed another person.
They resemble wax sculptures. Another admirer commented, ‘Cute movie, but Nicole’s hair and Zac’s face are both equally jarring and distracting.’
In an interview with Men’s Health published in September 2022, Efron addressed the claims of plastic surgery.
He disclosed that he suffered a broken jaw in 2018, leading to the enlargement of his face and jaw muscles. Efron said, ‘The masseters just grew.’ ‘They have gotten incredibly large.’
The High School Musical actor added that he was told about the rumors of plastic surgery by his mother, Starla Baskett.
‘I definitely wouldn’t be able to do this work if I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do,’ he stated in the interview.
Efron told Entertainment Tonight that he was on the verge of death from the injury. It was humorous. It’s awful.
We’re well, but I nearly died,” he remarked in November 2022. Celebrity facial plastic surgeon Dr. Sam Rizk suggested to The New York Post last year that the Iron Claw actor might have had further surgeries done despite Efron’s denials.
In addition to straightening his jaw, Rizk surmised, ‘he probably took the opportunity to do something better.’
Given that his chin appears a little bit more prominent, it is possible that he underwent jaw innovations, which pull the chin somewhat more forward.
or any of the above, such as chin or mandibular angle implants [in the lower jaw]. Additionally, according to Rizk, Efron ‘had some sort of brow lift or he had Botox’ and ‘probably’ had filler put into his cheekbones.
