A group of 17 nuns captivated the audience with their remarkable performance of ‘Sister Act’. Video

Here’s a heartwarming performance from the Britain’s Got Talent finale that the crowd loved despite not being in the competition.

Based on the popular 1992 film of the same name, Ezoic Sister Act was a musical that debuted regionally in California before making its big screen debut in 2009 on London’s West End and Broadway in 2011.

The story follows nightclub singer Deloris Van Cartier (played by Whoopi Goldberg), who joins witness protection and goes undercover as a nun.

She ends up revitalizing their choir and assisting the nuns in realizing their own strength and power. The enormous comedic success of it paved the way for the theatrical musical.

Based on this performance, the next West End revival of the play will likely be an excellent one. The cast of this staging at BGT is that of the production.

Keala Settle, who acted in the film The Greatest Showman, is featured in it. Ezoic Even if there isn’t a prize at the end, this is still very much worth watching.
