Patrick Swayze was a dancer, singer, and actor who won awards. He became well-known for his role as Johnny in the 1987 blockbuster film Dirty Dancing.

He had several more hits after this, including Roadhouse, Ghost, and Point Break. In the course of his remarkable career, he was nominated for three Golden Globes and even has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Patrick was a highly skilled dancer, as seen in Dirty Dancing. Throughout his early years, he pursued dance studies,

and he even relocated to New York City to receive professional training at the Joffrey Ballet and the Harkness Ballet. Regretfully, in 2009, Patrick succumbed to pancreatic cancer.
