The children of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are trying to save their marriage, Daily Mail reports, referring to its source.

Lopez and Affleck have been living separately for the past few months. Their children, who used to spend a lot of time together, now meet less than before.

18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina (aka Finn) and 12-year-old Samuel are in Los Angeles with their father Ben and mother Jennifer Garner. And JLo’s 16-year-old twins Max and Emmy are mostly by her side.

According to the source, all five are working to reconcile Jennifer and Ben. ‘The kids think Jennifer and Ben are deeply in love with each other, like soul mates, and they don’t want them to divorce,’ the insider said.

‘They want everything to work out as in their marriage vows and believe that both of them should continue to consult and discuss issues, even if it is painful.’

The children hope to reconcile Ben and Jennifer before the singer’s 55th birthday, which will expire on July 24, the insider added.
