Leaked footage of the incident has not been received well by everyone. AGT viewers may recall the incident from Season 15 when Cowell gave the impression that she had shot fellow judge Sofia Vergara with an arrow.

It occurred during Ryan Stock and AmberLynn’s performance. It appears that Cowell chose to reuse this joke for the upcoming season of Britain’s Got Talent.

Recently, footage was posted on TikTok that appeared to show Cowell pretending to be shot by an arrow as Bruno Tonioli, the new judge, is blindfolded and using a crossbow.

The Sun claims that the prank happened during a routine in which balloons were shot. Tonioli was blindfolded,

and Cowell wore a fictitious arrow on his chest. To add realism to the hoax, Tonioli took off Cowell’s blindfold, and a paramedic even raced to him.

The publication published pictures showing Tonioli rushing up to join Cowell on stage, whereupon he kneels next to him.

A video clip, meantime, captures the moment Tonioli took off his blindfold in response to cries from the crowd. Not everyone finds Cowell’s practical joke on Tonioli funny.

According to Laura Sugden, an actual victim of a crossbow attack, the ruse was “absolutely disgraceful,” as reported by The Sun.

“People who lost loved ones through such a dangerous weapon will be watching,” she continued. How someone could find that hilarious defies me.

According to The Sun, BGT’s producers are reportedly “in crisis” over whether to play the joke when the show returns to ITV later this year.

“was genuinely panicked and for a moment really thought something had gone badly wrong,” an insider said.

The insider further stated that Tonioli herself believes the practical joke was “too over the top and inappropriate,” particularly in light of the murder of

cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the Rust set in 2021. Due to the incident, actor Alec Baldwin faces charges of involuntary manslaughter.
