Speaking candidly, Eric Roberts revealed that he was instructed not to discuss his sister Julia Roberts or daughter Emma Roberts.
During his appearance on the podcast Still Here Hollywood, the actor was questioned about his well-known sister Julia.
Julia Roberts was once among the most well-known figures in Hollywood, but it seems that she would rather avoid the spotlight these days.
During his podcast appearance, the star’s brother Eric emphasized how much she values her privacy. He didn’t reveal anything when asked about Julia and kept silent regarding the subject.
You’ll have to ask her, he said. I can’t talk about my sister, even though I adore her. She is unwilling to discuss it.”
Julia was apparently upset about Eric’s impending memoir, Runaway Train: or, The Story of My Life So Far, which is scheduled for release in September, when they had the interview.
Emma Roberts, Eric’s daughter, is also said to have advised him not to discuss her in public. His sister is not the only person who has advised Eric to stay quiet about her.
Eric said that ‘I slipped and do’ and disclosed that Emma had ‘told me not to talk about her.’ “I’m not supposed to talk about either of them,” he continued. However, I do.”
The actor continued by explaining why, in particular, he can’t stop talking about his sister and daughter.
“I’m in love with my daughter’s work these days,” he declared. Her incredible growth still amazes me.
I’m so happy for her that I’m dizzy.” The actor continued: “Since her performance in Maybe I Do until right now, she overwhelms me with pride and just, ‘Oh my God, here she goes again.’
“She’s a badass, which makes me incredibly thrilled to be her father. And I’m really happy about that.”
Regarding the ‘nepo baby’ discussion that surrounded Emma, Eric also said that he had ‘absolutely nothing’ to do with her success in Hollywood.
When Emma said that she had “lost more jobs than I’ve gained from being in the business,” it sparked quite a stir. She gave the following explanation for her feelings:
“People have opinions, and sometimes those opinions might not be good ones about people in your family.”I know I’ve lost a few jobs because of it, but I’ve never gained any because of it.”
