Celine Dion’s magnificent performance at the opening of the Paris Olympics

Canadian singer Celine Dion performed at the opening of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Dion closed the ceremony by singing Edith Piaf’s Hymn a l’amour.

The famous Canadian singer Celine Dion, who is fighting against an incurable disease – stiff man syndrome, performed live on stage for the first time in the last 5 years.

In 1996 in Atlanta, the singer once again staged an unforgettable show on the occasion of the Olympic Games and this time she strengthened her success.

All the surrounding lights were turned off, leaving only the symbol of the Olympic Games 5 rings. Below them, the singer sensually performed the song in French in a luxurious sparkling dress.

As it became known to the journalists, she was paid a crazy fee of 2 million dollars for the performance of one French song.

Standing at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Celine Dion performed the famous song L’Hymne à l’amour, which was sung by the late Edith Piaf, accompanied by an orchestra.
