{"id":37044,"date":"2022-04-10T21:08:50","date_gmt":"2022-04-10T18:08:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/?p=37044"},"modified":"2022-04-10T21:08:50","modified_gmt":"2022-04-10T18:08:50","slug":"a-woman-whose-arms-were-amputated-after-being-attacked-by-dogs-is-still-fighting-for-her-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/?p=37044","title":{"rendered":"A woman whose arms were amputated after being attacked by dogs is still fighting for her life&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kyleen Waltman, of Honea Path, South Carolina, is fighting for her life after she was bitten by three dogs while going home on March 21.<\/p>\n<p>Kyleen&#8217;s family shared a tragic update on her condition on social media, stating that &#8216;prayers are working&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpermalink.php%3Fstory_fbid%3D1641519559518315%26id%3D100009808601573&#038;show_text=true&#038;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"624\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After being severely mauled by a trio of dogs on March 21, Kyleen Waltman, 38, a mother of three from South Carolina,\u00a0is still battling for her life.<br \/>\nAs reported by the news media, the\u00a0dogs were still mauling her when she was rescued by a nearby farmer who fired his gun into the air to disperse the dogs.<\/p>\n<p>Associated Press said that Kyleen&#8217;s sister, Shenna Green, informed them that the dogs were living on a property that had a &#8220;Beware of Dogs&#8221; sign posted on it. The warning had been placed by the owner as a result of the dogs&#8217; previous violent behavior.<\/p>\n<p>When deputies got on the scene, they discovered Kyleen in a critical condition. She was airlifted to the hospital after suffering severe injuries. Unfortunately, the doctors had to act quickly, and as a result, both of her arms were amputated, as well as her colon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37046\" src=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-3.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"726\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-3.jpeg 720w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-3-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-3-298x300.jpeg 298w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;She didn&#8217;t deserve it,&#8221; her sister Shenna expressed her disappointment. &#8220;She was a good human being. She was of help to everyone.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another sister, Amy Wynne, has put up a GoFundMe page to support Kyleen and her family with the growing medical bills. On Monday, April 4, she sent an update in the form of a letter, which read:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-18.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"374\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37056\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-18.jpg 683w, https:\/\/armenia23.ru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2-18-300x164.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The dog&#8217;s owner was arrested and charged after the attack. Justin L. Minor has been recognized as the owner of the\u00a0dogs.<\/p>\n<p>The owner was spotted sobbing in the courtroom as the accusations were read to him.
