We want to believe that when we’re in danger, someone will always be there to help us.
\nIt could be a member of your family, a friend, a kind neighbor, or a total stranger.<\/p>\n

In this woman’s situation, a police officer from the district came to her rescue.
\nOfficer Cody Alloway was on patrol near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Glendale, Arizona, when he noticed a woman in a wheelchair wanting to cross the roadway.<\/p>\n

Her wheelchair became stuck while she was already on the street.
\nAnother gentleman tried to aid her, but Officer Cody told him that he could handle her. He also safely moved her to the opposite side of the road.<\/p>\n

“I talked about her day and where she was going, and she informed me that she was waiting for her granddaughter,\u00a0 wanted to\u00a0cross the street\u00a0\u00a0and go\u00a0 grocery shopping, Officer Alloway expressed.<\/p>\n

Unbeknownst to Officer Alloway, someone in a car across the street had noticed his nice deed and began video it.They sent the footage to FOX 10, who covered the story.<\/p>\n

They were also able to acquire footage from traffic cameras to confirm the footage captured. “I was shocked. Officer Alloway stated, “I had no idea I was going to be on camera and that it was going to be a thing.”<\/p>\n

The apple, it turns out, does not fall far from the tree.
\nHis father, Glendale Police Department Officer Jeff Alloway, surprised a small child with a surprise gift a week ago, and the boy donated all of his toys to a Christmas angel tree. It appears that doing good is in their blood.<\/p>\n

Officer Alloway commented, “Definitely an excellent example of what I want to be and who I should be, and everyday, I can see him being that person for me.”<\/p>\n

Officer Cody’s selfless action was, of course, praised by FOX 10 viewers.
\n“This is my kind of cop!!!” “We want law enforcement to do things like this,” Sid Viciousness stated.<\/p>\n

“More cops should do things like this to enhance public relations and put an end to the toxic “anti-cop” culture.” And news agencies should cover more positive tales; it’s becoming annoying to hear only about homicides,” Evil Pimp added.<\/p>\n

“It’s wonderful to see police officers supporting and assisting individuals. “It helped me regain some faith in police officers,” Jeffrey Calhoun said.<\/p>\n

Officer Cody Alloway remains modest and grateful despite all of the compliments.
\n“You work with men and women who perform small acts of kindness that are often unappreciated.<\/p>\n

Officer Alloway added, “They do these things all the time without expecting any attention, and I’m just grateful that I get to be a part of it.”<\/p>\n
