A gold box bearing her name and address is delivered to her house a few days later.
\nWe all know how good it is for children to have pets as they are growing up.<\/p>\n

They learn to be responsible and take care of others from an early age, while also having a playmate, which is especially crucial for only children. The 14-year-old dog had been with the family for years and had evolved into a true member of the family.<\/p>\n

They had always played together since Meredith was born and had a wonderful and unique friendship. And it’s for this reason that Meredith was devastated when Abbey became ill and died. She couldn’t accept the reality that her best friend had abandoned them forever.<\/p>\n

‘My 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey the day after she died away,’ Meredith’s mother, Colleen, posted on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Then they stuffed the letter into an envelope with numerous stamps \u2013 Meredith insisted on using a lot of them because it’s a long way to heaven \u2013 and mailed it. What about the address? “God\/Heaven” is the correct term.<\/p>\n

Meredith questioned her parents if God had received her letter a few days later, and they could only say that they assumed so.The parents of the little girl believed the story ended there, but they were mistaken.<\/p>\n

Meredith received a gold box with her name and address on it a few days later. It seems to have come from God himself. The box contained Mr. Rogers’ book ‘When a Pet Dies,’ as well as the note and photograph Meredith had sent. Colleen also read another letter addressed to her daughter.<\/p>\n

Abbey arrived in heaven safely. The photo was quite helpful, and I immediately recognized her. Abbey is no longer ill. Her spirit is there in my life, just as it is in yours. Abbey enjoyed her time as your dog.<\/p>\n

I don’t have any pockets to store your photo in because we don’t need our bodies in heaven, so I’m sending it back to you in this tiny book for you to cherish and remember Abbey by.
