With this wonderful duet of Easter ‘Hallelujah,’ two sisters tell us of the true reason for the holiday.<\/p>\n

Kelley Mooney wrote this stunning song after she was invited to sing Leonard Cohen’s \u2018Hallelujah\u2019 at church one Sunday.<\/p>\n

Kelley noticed that the original lyrics did not correspond to the Easter story at all after closer examination of the song.<\/p>\n

She decided that singing those words would be inappropriate, so she came up with the brilliant idea of rewriting the song to relate the true tale of Easter.<\/p>\n

This magnificent song now talks of our Lord and Savior’s Resurrection.<\/p>\n

‘A crown of thorns was placed on His head, and He knew He would die shortly, so He asked, ‘Did you forget me, Father?’<\/p>\n

Cassandra Star and Callahan, sisters, are performing this Easter hymn today, and it’s just wonderful. <\/p>\n

The kids offered this performance to their granny, who \u2018needs extra love & prayers right now…. this is her favorite song,\u2019 according to YouTube.<\/p>\n
