We believed we were, in a sense, winning despite the fact that we were living upside down and backwards and had exchanged roles, with Mum playing the parent and we playing the children.<\/p>\n

But that’s where dementia surprises you. Mum survived for a while. We came up with creative solutions to deal with her memory challenges.<\/p>\n
