Dan is her\u00a0 Dan, her beloved son. When Valerie recognized her spouse, she screamed that out. When he comes to visit, it isn’t always the case. <\/p>\n

Valerie has Alzheimer’s, as you can see. She currently resides in the memory care facility in Shelton, Washington, and was diagnosed more than 12 years ago.<\/p>\n

Alzheimer’s disease alters many facets of a relationship, but it does not alter a person’s need for love and affection.<\/p>\n

You might stop seeing someone who has been close to you and significant. You’ll need to come up with new ways to communicate your emotions, the Alzheimer Society writes.<\/p>\n

Dan must have found it extremely challenging on the times when the love of his life didn’t recognize him. <\/p>\n

But this time was particularly memorable since she thought about her husband.
\nIt was Valerie and Dan’s 66th wedding anniversary, for that reason.<\/p>\n

Dan’s carer Lisa stated in a video description for Viral Hog,’ When I take Dan to see and visit we never know if she would remember him. ‘Today, on their special 66th wedding anniversary, she did. <\/p>\n

It was lovely. Lisa had the brilliant idea to record it so Dan could view it later when he misses his wife. which means each day. The conclusion was fantastic.<\/p>\n

Valerie merely glances back at her beloved as Dan speaks a few barely audible words to her at the beginning of the video. As soon as her husband is brought to mind, her jaw drops. ‘Oh. God, oh God. Dan, my dear Dan. She exclaims in amazement,’ That’s my Daaaann.<\/p>\n

In the video, a nurse tells Dan, who is seated in a wheelchair, ‘See I told you she would remember you, honey.’ He is then rolled toward his wife. It is honey, indeed. That’s your Dan, the attendant informs
\nValerie.<\/p>\n

Then, with surprise evident in her eyes, Valerie turns to face her caregiver. She cries, ‘My Daaaann!’<\/p>\n

The caregiver replies, moving Valerie a little closer, ‘Your Dan’s here hun.’ Valeria tries to kiss the caregiver on the cheek since she appears so appreciative of her for bringing her Dan.<\/p>\n

I don’t understand how the caretaker woman wasn’t crying uncontrollably. I’ve never seen anything more both beautiful and devastating than that video. More than 100,000 people have watched the video and are praising about it.<\/p>\n

‘Man, I’m bawling over this. Too sweet, I say. A life spent together and the ability to maintain that connection despite this awful illness,’ writes one commenter. <\/p>\n

It’s challenging to see this and explain my pursuit of a storied career as the highest value. Growing old alone would be awful! another said.<\/p>\n

Many people also discussed their own encounters with the disease. ‘That’s really tragic. My parents both developed Alzheimer’s disease at the same time.<\/p>\n

I, my sister, and my mother were never forgotten by my father, who passed away so suddenly, according to another.<\/p>\n
