Sometimes the most basic things can surprise us, especially if they are brand-new. Thanks to his daughter, this 78-year-old Newfoundlander from the Canadian town of Gander was able to experience a car wash for the first first time.<\/p>\n

While her car was being cleaned, she noticed his amused reaction and recounted what had happened.<\/p>\n

‘We had some snow in the early fall, so I went to the car wash to remove it all. I went on and answered his questions without realizing that dad (who is 78) had never been in one,’ she stated.<\/p>\n

He had spent his entire life in a little rural Newfoundland village, she said. ‘Some of the queries, like ‘Do we get out now?’ were really amusing.<\/p>\n

I made the decision to begin secretly taping him. The reactions were so beautiful and innocent, and he wished he could have shown his friends and grandfather.<\/p>\n
