<\/p>\nRob Muberry and his future wife Amanda met while working at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. Amanda was a waitress at a bar where Rob was the bartender. Young people liked each other from the first day they met.<\/p>\n
Soon after the couple started dating, their relationship was destined to be tested for strength.<\/p>\n
Rob began to have inexplicable ailments: he felt unwell and often complained of pain in the abdomen. Just a year after meeting Amanda, he lost 30 kg.<\/p>\n
The couple was in consultation with many doctors, but no one could say for sure what was the reason for this state of Rob. <\/p>\n
Finally, one surgeon suggested an exploratory operation because ‘no healthy person can lose 30 kilos in a year.’<\/p>\n
After the operation, the couple was waiting for stunning news.<\/p>\n

Doctors were forced to tell the couple the terrible truth: Rob had colon cancer of the most serious kind. During the operation, the doctor removed a tumor the size of a fist.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the cancer has already spread to the intestines, lymph nodes and bladder.<\/p>\n
Doctors calculated that Rob had only a few weeks to live. That night, as the couple struggled to sort out their thoughts, Rob realized there was no time to waste.<\/p>\n
Amanda says: ‘One night, when I was lying in a hospital bed next to Rob, he turned to me and whispered: ‘I want to get married.’ <\/p>\n
‘I immediately picked up: ‘I want to get married!’ Rob and Amanda got married just two days before the start of the radiation therapy at the hospital.<\/p>\n

After the wedding, Rob’s treatment began. However, after the first course of treatment, Rob’s condition showed no signs of improvement.<\/p>\n
Instead of continuing with radio and chemotherapy, the couple decided to take a break from traditional treatments and give Rob’s body time to rid itself of toxins. In desperation, the couple turned to alternative medicines.<\/p>\n
‘We both changed our diets to become completely vegetarian, experimented with different herbs and even did coffee enemas,’ says Amanda.<\/p>\n
Doctors questioned their actions, because to date there is no scientific evidence that alternative methods can cure cancer.<\/p>\n

However, just three weeks later, Rob returned for another examination, which showed that the cancer had disappeared from his body by 80 percent.<\/p>\n
And by December 2014, there was no trace of the disease. Rob’s story quickly spread around the world, and many people believe that it was vegetarianism that helped him recover.<\/p>\n
However, Rob himself does not want to become a source of rumors that by becoming a vegetarian, a person will definitely defeat cancer. The man hopes that by his example he will inspire others to switch to a healthier lifestyle.<\/p>\n

After Rob’s health improved, the couple decided to have children. Due to radiation therapy, they could not conceive naturally, so the couple turned to IVF (In Vitro Fertilization).<\/p>\n
After a bad miscarriage, Amanda became pregnant with twins. So, in 2016, they became happy parents of long-awaited babies.<\/p>\n

‘It is very hard to remember that just a few years ago everything could have turned out differently. This proves once again that love works wonders,’ says Amanda.<\/p>\n
