Calum Courtney, 10, dazzled the onlookers in the supermarket with a faultless performance of Smokey Robinson’s \u2018Who’s Lovin’ You.\u2019 The young boy’s moderate form of autism motivates him to sing and lend a hand to others. <\/p>\n

A music producer and songwriter was impressed by his performance and is interested in working with him to write a charity record in the coming year. <\/p>\n

Tupney Courtney, Calum’s mother, claims that Calum enjoys singing in front of others and does it frequently around the house. <\/p>\n

He intended for his father to be the only one to witness the film of his act in the Asla supermarket, but after his aunt shared it online, it quickly gained popularity. <\/p>\n

Calum surprised himself when he watched the video. He didn’t realize how amazing he was until he watched the video, when he told his mother, \u2018Mum, I’m actually really good,\u2019 according to Tupney. <\/p>\n

Calum has high functioning autism, she continues. For Calum, this entails a lack of clear social boundaries, academic challenges, and friendship issues, but it also gives him the confidence to stand up and sing. <\/p>\n

In reality, Calum has performed live on stage for neighborhood organizations that fund autism research.<\/p>\n
