What caused this to begin? When this bride paid a hefty price of $100 for her wedding dress in 1950, the older sister Adele set the trend. Nowadays, the majority of wedding dresses cost $1,000 or more. <\/p>\n

Later, in 1953, she gave it to her sister Elly. The clothing was given to their younger sister Sharon in 1969, sixteen years later. <\/p>\n

When Adele’s daughter wore the outfit in 1982, it eventually turned into a custom that was passed down to the next generation. <\/p>\n

The same was done by Elly’s daughters; Carole wore it in 1990, and Jean wore it in 1991 when she became the next family bride. <\/p>\n

When Julie, Sharon’s daughter, wore the dress on her special day in 2013, it was taken out of the box once more after 22 years. <\/p>\n

It was evident that Julie wanted to wear that particular dress, she recalled. In 2022, Serena, Sharon’s daughter, became the eighth bride to don the dress, seventy-two years after the custom began! <\/p>\n

Serena had almost everything a bride would require. A \u2018something old, something borrowed, and something blue\u2019 was made out of the clothing. <\/p>\n

They are all pleased to inform that each bride has enjoyed a long and happy marriage as a result of the attire. They anticipate that it will continue in the future. <\/p>\n

Who will come after? Although they are unsure as well, they eagerly await the day when the dress will be passed on to the next bride in the family. What a lovely approach to honor previous generations and to bless future ones.<\/p>\n
