Michael Balderson had recently given his face a fresh shave, and he thought it would be funny to play a game of peek-a-boo with his infant son. <\/p>\n

Because the man, who was 42 years old at the time, had always kept a beard throughout Theo’s whole life, the look of surprise on the child’s face was understandable. <\/p>\n

The baby, who was only 11 months old at the time, can be seen laughing in the video that his mother took of the game. His laughter continued even after his father removed the towel covering his chin.<\/p>\n

Bewilderment could be seen developing on Theo’s face as the transformation took place.Michael, a medical physicist in Phoenix, Arizona, recalled that when the patient got the news, \u2018His jaw fell and hit the floor.\u2019 <\/p>\n

Michael was describing the patient’s reaction.She explained it like this: \u2018He glanced at me in bewilderment.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018After around 20 seconds, he recognized it was still me, but even towards the end of filming, he didn’t appear to be completely satisfied,\u2019 she said. <\/p>\n

After around twenty seconds, he came to the conclusion that I was still there.He had the cutest little expression of melancholy that anyone has ever seen.<\/p>\n
