Country music superstar Blake Shelton prefers to spend his free time outside when he isn’t serving as the lead judge on the popular TV program \u2018The Voice.\u2019<\/p>\n

So when he was asked to host a group of foster kids, he was eager to share one of his greatest hobbies with them. <\/p>\n

The ten-time winner of a Country Music Award invited some foster kids to go fishing on one of his farms in Oklahoma. <\/p>\n

Shelton has a number of properties in the Sooner State because he was born and raised in Oklahoma and is one of the few country music celebrities who does not reside in Nashville. <\/p>\n

He assisted in teaching them how to fish and fillet their catch with the assistance of volunteers, capping up the day with a sizable fish fry. <\/p>\n

As the head of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, Blake discusses his love of wildlife conservation in a recent edition of \u2018Call of the Outdoors.\u2019<\/p>\n

To assist in exposing foster children and their families to nature, the foundation has partnered with Fostering Outdoor Oklahoma Families. <\/p>\n

According to ABC News, wildlife officials thanked Blake for being so kind and spending the time to show the kids from his home state what outdoor Oklahoma is all about. <\/p>\n

All the equipment was provided by the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation, and the kids got to take it all home with them so they could keep fishing.<\/p>\n

According to Distractify, Blake has at least two homes in Oklahoma and, together with Gwen, has increased the size of his real estate portfolio to include a lake property on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma, which comes replete with a pool, swim-up tiki bar, and palm palms. <\/p>\n

These foster children deserve to be spoiled, so I hope they get to experience more thrilling adventures.
