<\/p>\nFor many young individuals, receiving their college degree is a rite of passage. Of course, not everyone is able to finish their college degree in a timely manner. <\/p>\n
Although Sthembile Mngwengwe was initially unable to attend college, she made sure that she did not let this deter her.<\/p>\n

Sthembile Mngwengwe, a 40-year-old South African, led a humble existence. After graduating from high school in 1998, <\/p>\n
Sthembile had intended to enroll in college, but sadly her parents were unable to support her at the time. <\/p>\n
She had been a cleaner at the University of KwaZulu-Natal for ten years when, all of a sudden, a fantastic chance presented itself. <\/p>\n
She was permitted to attend the university for free, although she acknowledged that it had been difficult to return to school after a 20-year absence.<\/p>\n

She claimed that juggling employment and school was quite stressful for her. But if you work hard and turn to God in prayer, He will aid you in achieving your goals. <\/p>\n
She mentioned that cleaning teachers’ offices was one of the factors that motivated her to complete her undergraduate degree. <\/p>\n
She continued,\u2019Being on campus also gave me motivation; watching kids stroll up and down the halls to their lecture halls to attend courses made me want to be them.\u2019<\/p>\n

She emphasized, \u2018No matter how old you are, you can still achieve your goals. Age is simply a number; just look at me, I finished my first degree at 40. <\/p>\n
I’m extremely happy with it and proud of myself.
\nShe spent 14 years working at the same college before enrolling as a student and earning a Bachelor’s degree in social science. <\/p>\n
