He is one of the most well-known singers and songwriters of all time and has sold more than 130 million records worldwide.<\/p>\n

Since he began his career in the 1960s, he has continued to draw large crowds to his concerts up until 2018, when he revealed that he has Parkinson’s disease. <\/p>\n

He decided to scrap his scheduled visit of Australia and New Zealand because of this.<\/p>\n

I regretfully announce my retirement from concert traveling with much difficulty. For the past 50 years, <\/p>\n

He added that his health prevented him from traveling and giving large-scale performances, as he had done up until that point. <\/p>\n

Nevertheless, he thanked each and every one of his supporters for their support over the years and told them that he would continue to perform music for a very long time.<\/p>\n

He canceled the tours after publicly disclosing his Parkinson’s diagnosis, but he continues to play occasionally, occasionally shocking audiences.<\/p>\n

He sang \u2018Sweet Caroline\u2019 during the 8th inning stretch of a Red Sox game at Fenway Park on June 18, 2022, and on March 7, 2020, <\/p>\n

he performed at the Keep Memory Alive Power of Love Gala at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. <\/p>\n

A few weeks before turning 82 in December of last year, he surprised his fans once more at the Broadway premiere of his musical A Beautiful Noise.<\/p>\n

The crowd members were ecstatic to see him because this was truly the first time he has played in his hometown since 2017. <\/p>\n

That evening, the well-known performer entered the venue to a standing ovation after walking the red carpet with his wife, Katie McNeil. <\/p>\n

After then, it was time to give his followers a small\u2014or rather, a huge\u2014surprise. To them, he sang \u2018Sweet Caroline.\u2019<\/p>\n
