Susan Lucci, a well-known soap opera star, recently explored the possibilities of falling in love <\/p>\n

again and indicated that she is not yet ready to return to the dating scene following the death of her husband Helmut Huber. <\/p>\n

Huber died in March 2022, at the age of 84, after a lengthy career in television production as Lucci’s manager. Their marriage lasted over 53 years. His wife’s name was Lucci.<\/p>\n

During a meal at the Red Salt Room restaurant at the Garden City Hotel on Long Island in the 1960s, the two people became acquainted for the first time. <\/p>\n

Huber, who was born in Austria, was the hotel’s culinary manager and head chef at the time, and Lucci had recently finished college and was working there as a waitress. <\/p>\n

Huber was nine years older than Lucci and acted as her boss at work, so he didn’t dare approach her out of fear that she would turn him down. However,<\/p>\n

he said that he was startled the moment he set eyes on his future wife in an interview with People that was published in 1999. <\/p>\n

Despite this, Lucci had already chosen to celebrate her engagement at the Garden City Hotel because she was already engaged to someone else.<\/p>\n

Huber could not hold back from telling Lucci’s mother that he does not think this relationship would succeed even if he was present to witness the celebration. <\/p>\n

Lucci ultimately decided to break off her engagement and started dating Huber as a result. The two were dating for nine months in total before getting married in September 1969. <\/p>\n

The role of Erica Kane on the daytime drama \u2019All My Children,\u2019 which Lucci would play for the following forty years, had also been secured by 1970. <\/p>\n

The marriage of Lucci and Huber was successful because it gave birth to two children, Liza and Andreas. <\/p>\n

As her career started to take off, Huber decided to leave the restaurant business and switch to being her manager. <\/p>\n

The pair formed a production firm in addition to becoming one of New York’s most prominent show business couples.<\/p>\n

Ten months after the death of her spouse, Lucci sobbed while speaking to Rosanna Scotto of \u2018Good Day New York,\u2019 stating that she is not yet ready to find a new love partner. <\/p>\n

Lucci claimed that although others have tried to set her up with someone, she is unable to picture herself going on a date. <\/p>\n

The actress repeated her answers on February 1, 2023 while taking part in a fundraiser for the American Heart Association.<\/p>\n

He was the one who assisted her and became her rock because she was only 22 when she became a famous TV celebrity. <\/p>\n

After Huber passed away, the Daytime Emmy Awards were hosted in his honor in 2022, and Lucci spoke of her lifelong love while accepting the trophy.<\/p>\n
