When Alysia and Tyler Rogers began a sexual relationship with married friends Sean and Taya Hartless, they already had two children, currently aged 7 and 8.<\/p>\n

The four polyamorous couples, who are all from the US, moved in together in 2020. The following year, Alysia and Taya had pregnancies that were seven months apart. <\/p>\n
Both mothers are unaware of the children’s biological fathers, but Alysia insists they will one day assist the kids in learning who their biological father is if they so choose. <\/p>\n
Taya recently told Today.com, \u2018We wanted to do everything we could to make sure that everyone feels like an equal parent.\u2019<\/p>\n

The open couples have been honest about their shared challenges and acknowledge that they experience normal relationship emotions as well. <\/p>\n
We experienced a few challenges with jealousy at tough times in the beginning, before we built trust,” one Instagram post explained. <\/p>\n
But right now, everyone must pitch in to help that person. <\/p>\n
When it comes to addressing needs, there are four separate persons, each with their own set of strengths. <\/p>\n

Some have criticized the four as being \u2018poor parents,\u2019 yet Tyler and Alysia’s two already-born children seem to be adapting to the new dynamics of their family extremely well. <\/p>\n
According to Alysia, \u2018Our kids were aware that we were dating Sean and Taya.\u2019<\/p>\n
We informed them that Dad and Mum would be moving in together and that Mum has a partner. And they’ll assist in raising you as part of our large family. <\/p>\n

Taya stated managing an atypical relationship can be challenging but valuable as it is in all partnerships. <\/p>\n
\u2019We know that our relationship will change continually, and I don’t think we’ll ever stop learning. But we’ll roll with it and figure something out,\u2019 Taya remarked. <\/p>\n
