Meet Josh, a man from Los Angeles who has contributed far more than most of us. Yet, he hasn’t been giving money. <\/p>\n

Josh Harrold has benefited others by donating his organs.He has done this before, most recently giving a portion of his kidney to a baby girl. <\/p>\n

Nonetheless, others may be perplexed as to why Josh has no problem repeating this action.<\/p>\n

It all started nine years prior, when his wife Erica was diagnosed with a terrible brain tumor.
\nEvery medical professional they spoke with was unhelpful and gloomy. <\/p>\n

They all informed the couple that nothing could be done because the tumor could not be removed. They claimed that she would only have roughly 4 years to live, even with chemotherapy.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

But, it soon became clear that pessimism was just that\u2014pessimism. They didn’t want to give up. They eventually <\/p>\n

discovered a neurosurgeon at USC who had considerably better news than the others during their quest. <\/p>\n

Yes, let’s proceed, the neurosurgeon said.
\nErica recovered from the procedure successfully and was cancer-free. <\/p>\n

Josh would be motivated to give back by two big events, one of which would be this.<\/p>\n

He was set on the path he’s currently on after his daughter Amelia was born prematurely.Josh spent the full eight weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit. <\/p>\n

Josh noticed there were many people outside the NICU. All of them were there because they were distressed and hurt.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kelly Van Den Berghe contacted all of her friends and family on Facebook when the time came for her to get a kidney. <\/p>\n

Kelly had developed polycystic kidney disease and would need to undergo frequent dialysis if she didn’t get a new kidney.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Josh glanced at his wife once before she realized he wanted to respond to her post after seeing it. <\/p>\n

Josh had nothing to lose as a healthy person’s kidney regenerates over the course of a few weeks. <\/p>\n

Van Den Berghe is eternally grateful for the kidney transplant that saved her life.He belongs to me. And I have great kidneys. He thereby saved my life, she stated.<\/p>\n

Years later, he repeated the action. Josh is currently giving a young girl he’s never met 25% of his liver. <\/p>\n

She was less than a year old at the time, which was all he knew. We now know Kelly’s name and that she has biliary atresia.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Kelly’s burden was significantly lessened by Josh’s liver donation, and even now she is making amazing progress. <\/p>\n

\u2019I underwent a battery of tests, and fortunately everything was in agreement. I feel like this baby was made for me. <\/p>\n

He spoke
\nJosh now urges everyone to donate blood and organs if they are able to. <\/p>\n

Although it could make you feel a little uneasy or uneasy, it might actually save someone’s life. <\/p>\n
