This second-childhood grader’s fantasy was to go to the father-daughter dance. Since her father’s passing, she never imagined that she would be able to go, though. <\/p>\n

That is, until they wisely decided to offer to serve as escorts for kids without father figures.
\n\u2019I contacted the mother, and she said it was fine… <\/p>\n

Because the last thing I want is to be rejected by a second grader,\u2019 said Nick Harvey, the Van Buren school resource officer. <\/p>\n

The following day, I formally asked her if she would go with me to the daddy-daughter dance after her mom had spoken to her about it.<\/p>\n

Harvey was visibly delighted and proud of his choice when he reflected on the experience and related his story to 5 News while seated next to Avey Cox, <\/p>\n

an 8-year-old girl. He displayed his sincere and good intentions without displaying any evidence of regret. <\/p>\n

When the big day finally arrived, the parents and volunteers put in a lot of effort and did everything they could to make it a lovely and unforgettable evening. <\/p>\n

Cox and Harvey planned their outfits in advance, posed for a ton of photos, took a limo to the event, and even stopped for pizza on the way.<\/p>\n

Before turning to Harvey and beaming, Cox told 5News, \u2019I really got to go and see all my pals there. It meant a lot.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018And after that, I got to accompany him and had a great time.\u2019That particular moment was so priceless. <\/p>\n

The young girl’s smile and pointing gesture towards Harvey are so unbelievably cute that they make our hearts melt.<\/p>\n

Harvey concurred that it was a remarkable night, one he in fact won’t soon forget. The officer claimed that both on and off the dance floor at the Arkansas school, the two created many lovely memories. <\/p>\n

Harvey laughed and said, \u2018I kind of humiliated myself and danced when I can’t dance at all.
\nCox began, \u2018Me and him dancing,\u2019 before sounded as though she was about to cry. <\/p>\n

Harvey then embraced her and gave her a hug. It was such a precious, sincere moment, and the bond these <\/p>\n

two have is unquestionably exceptional and vital, especially for a little child who lost a parent at such a key age.<\/p>\n

The father-daughter dance was one of the evening’s extra-special moments. Someone at the party <\/p>\n

captured Harvey and Cox dancing and uploaded the video to the Internet, where it quickly went viral. <\/p>\n

Harvey’s generosity touched everyone in the world that night, not just the young girl, who was moved by its sincerity. <\/p>\n

In today’s world, it is so great to see some good people out there performing good actions. <\/p>\n
