In the video that has gone viral recently, Hoare states that she does not believe in bathing newborns <\/p>\n
immediately after they are born. In addition, she thinks they shouldn’t take a bath for the first month. <\/p>\n
Shahnta, who is holding her newborn baby Ozzy, says that she has always had firm ideas about the benefits of <\/p>\n
the \u2018vernix,\u2019 the white, thick substance that coats an infant’s skin in the third trimester of pregnancy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There is usually a thick layer of vernix on a newborn’s skin. After birth, newborns typically undergo a routine cleaning by nurses or other medical workers.<\/p>\n

The mother of Hoare’s first three children has revealed that she did not wish for any of them to be wiped down in this manner. <\/p>\n
Jackson, her firstborn, was cleaned up before she had a chance to react. When she had her next set of kids, a set of twins, the same thing happened again. <\/p>\n
She tried to be more explicit about her preferences for the birth of her fourth kid since she felt guilty about not \u2018advocating\u2019 for herself throughout her first three pregnancies. <\/p>\n
