<\/p>\nOne of the most recognizable faces in television is Ted Danson. Danson has had a career spanning almost five decades and has given outstanding performances in both television and movies. <\/p>\n
The Onion Field, Three Men and a Baby, Three Men and a Little Woman, Body Heat, Getting Even with Dad, The Human Contract, Dad, and Saving Private Ryan are a few of Danson’s best-known films. <\/p>\n
Danson has gained more fame in television. His most recent award came in 2017 for his performance as Michael on \u2018The Good Place,\u2019 <\/p>\n
which he earned for Best Actor in a Comedy Series. He was nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series Primetime Emmy for the same role. <\/p>\n
He also appeared in \u2018Cheers,\u2019 \u2018CSI: Cyber,\u2019 \u2018Bored to Death,\u2019 \u2018Curb Your Enthusiasm,\u2019 \u2019Mr. Mayor,\u2019 <\/p>\n

Danson has won a total of four awards: an American Comedy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Critics’ Choice Television Award. <\/p>\n
Danson’s personal life has been equally bright in many respects as his colorful television career. Before settling <\/p>\n
down with his current wife, Mary Steenburgen, 75-year-old Danson had dated and married a number of different women. <\/p>\n
They have remained great partners for the 27 years that Danson and Steenburgen have been married, demonstrating that love isn’t simply about showy gestures. <\/p>\n

Edward Bridge Danson III, as he was then known, developed a passion for play while attending Stanford University. <\/p>\n
But he thought he needed to change programs to a better acting one. Thereafter Danson focused on Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon University. <\/p>\n

He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1972, and the same university later awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in 2018. <\/p>\n
Then, from 1975 to 1976, he made his television acting debut on the NBC daytime serial opera \u2018Somerset.\u2019 His profession has greatly expanded since that time. <\/p>\n
He wed the actress Randall “Randy” Gosch in 1970; however, they split up in 1975. He wed producer Cassandra \u2018Casey\u2019 Coates two years later. <\/p>\n
They adopted their second daughter, Alexis, in 1993 after giving birth to Kate, their first daughter, in 1979. <\/p>\n
Danson invested a lot of time in Coates’ recovery after she had a stroke. He did, however, have a brief affair with Whoopi Goldberg in 1992, <\/p>\n
which led to his divorce from Coates and ultimately led to the end of his relationship with Goldberg as well. <\/p>\n
For Danson, the divorce was challenging and costly, totaling more than $30 million.However, at that time he also got to see Steenburgen again. <\/p>\n
He had first met her in 1983 when he went in for an audition to play her husband on “Cross Creek.” Although <\/p>\n
Danson was unsuccessful in landing the position, it did not prevent their friendship from developing into something wonderful. <\/p>\n
Because they were both married at the time, Danson recalled to People Magazine that he was a \u2018hot mess\u2019 back then. <\/p>\n
Thankfully, life brought them back together when they reconnected as co-stars in the 1993 movie \u2018Pontiac Moon.\u2019 <\/p>\n

They eventually got married in 1995 after dating for two years despite their initial reluctance to commit.<\/p>\n
After 27 years of marriage, he not only became the husband of his wife but also the father of Charlie McDowell, a screenwriter, and Lily Steenburgen. <\/p>\n
Thereafter, as husband and wife, Danson and Steenburgen appeared in numerous movies like \u2018Gulliver’s Travels\u2019 and \u2018It Gotta Be Love.\u2019 <\/p>\n
Steenburgen raved about her marriage to Danson in 2013 to CBS, adding that she become a \u2018bit cynical about love\u2019 before meeting Danson. <\/p>\n
\u2018When I first met him, I believed infatuation was about as deep as it got,\u2019 she remarked. \u2018For me, he is the real deal. He was clearly sent from above.\u2019<\/p>\n
Moreover, Steenburgen told People Magazine that Danson has consistently made her feel \u2018beautiful\u2019 “every single day of her life.\u2019<\/p>\n
She added to the magazine that as they \u2018walk through the pleasures and joys, but also the challenges, of life together,\u2019 their love \u2018becomes more profound and deeper.\u2019<\/p>\n
She said, \u2018He is my partner in this life in the truest meaning of the word.\u2019 Particularly on Instagram, the two have expressed their affection for one another. <\/p>\n
On their 25th wedding anniversary, Steenburgen said, \u2018Thank you for making me laugh today and every one of the last 9,125 days. \u2018You are the world’s silliest, smartest, and nicest dreamboat. <\/p>\n
In confessing to People magazine, the award-winning actress said her husband’s thoughtful little acts meant the most to her: <\/p>\n
