<\/p>\nOn December 8, Isaiah McIntyre helped an old woman enter the Millinocket store known as the Katahdin General Store. <\/p>\n
It all started when he witnessed the elderly woman slipping and falling on a patch of ice while holding both her handbag and cane in the opposite hand.<\/p>\n

He got out of his car, walked over to the woman, asked if she needed help, and helped her to the dry pavement. <\/p>\n
He accepted the woman’s thanks and went on his way, not giving the situation any thought.On the other <\/p>\n
hand, there was a female bystander who took pictures of the proceedings and posted them on Facebook.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
The woman in the image has been identified by users as Marjorie Moore, 93. According to Moore, when her kids questioned <\/p>\n
her about leaving the house on such a chilly day, she reassured them that it wasn’t too cold and that there wasn’t much ice on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n

Moore, who will turn 94 in January and is alone in an apartment at an assisted living facility, claimed that she thanked the man and told him that he was a very nice man. <\/p>\n
After posting the picture online, more than 2,600 people from Maine and as far away as Italy have sent notes and comments on it.<\/p>\n
