<\/p>\nOne of Hollywood’s top heartthrobs is George Clooney. Nevertheless, Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor has been firmly off the market ever since he wed attorney Amal Clooney in 2014. <\/p>\n
George, who has won numerous prizes and honors, is most recognized for his work as an actor and a director. <\/p>\n
From 1994 to 1999, he played Dr. Doug Ross on \u2018ER,\u2019 where he amassed a sizable following. Subsequently, <\/p>\n
he was cast in a number of leading roles in motion pictures. George received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. <\/p>\n
George has undoubtedly built a name for himself in the entertainment business through his work as an actor, director, and producer, <\/p>\n
but he has also made a name for himself through his humanitarian endeavors. The actor has often gone above and beyond to help folks in need and to encourage others to do the same. <\/p>\n
George is incredibly well-liked for his attractive features and endearing personality as well as his beauty, which extends beyond the interior. <\/p>\n
The actor spent a significant amount of his time in the spotlight single after one brief marriage at the beginning of his career. That all changed, though, after he met Amal. <\/p>\n

2014 saw the marriage of George and Amal, and it is obvious that they adore one another. On October 21, 2022, George made an appearance on \u2018The Drew Barrymore Show,\u2019 <\/p>\n
where he revealed some details of their relationship, including how they first connected (at a party he held at his home in Como, Italy) <\/p>\n
and the fact that they still write each other handwritten letters. He also shared the sweet tale of how he proposed to them. <\/p>\n

He planned to pop the question to Amal at dinner by pretending to ask her to retrieve a lighter from a drawer behind her, where he had concealed the engagement ring. <\/p>\n
He remembered telling himself, \u2019I bet there’s a lighter in that tiny box behind you.\u2019 According to George, Drew Barrymore, \u2018and she kind of takes this thing out, <\/p>\n
this little drawer, and there’s this diamond ring in there and she looks at it and she’s like, \u2018There’s a ring in there.\u2019 <\/p>\n
He recalled that he had been on his knees waiting for Amal to accept his proposal. I genuinely wanted to marry you, but I also mentioned that I was getting older, <\/p>\n
had been on my knee for a while, and that I might lose a hip, you know? She responds by saying, \u2019Well, absolutely,\u2019 George continued. <\/p>\n
He also acknowledged that when he found out they were expecting twins a few years later, he was \u2018terrified.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018We went to that place where they take the child when they’re 12 weeks old. And (the physician) announces, \u2018It’s a boy.\u2019And a girl, he adds later. And I thought, \u2018What?\u2019<\/p>\n
George added, \u2018It was such a disaster. \u2018I thought to myself, Are you kidding me? It is currently the best thing ever. <\/p>\n
Then, I was afraid. He said, \u2018Well, I was 56 years old, and that just seemed terrible to me,\u2019 at Barrymore’s encouragement.<\/p>\n
Now that he has accepted parenting, George is relishing every second of it. After becoming a parent not long after, he stated to the Hollywood Reporter: <\/p>\n

\u2019I hope I don’t mess this up is the first thought that comes to mind. We are all accountable for our actions in life, <\/p>\n
but Amal and I also bear some of the blame because we watch out for and care about one another. <\/p>\n
Nevertheless, you actually have two children to care for. I wish for them joy. I want them to be able to laugh at themselves. <\/p>\n
I want them to be engaged with the world. I want them to have empathy for the suffering of others. Because, you know, that’s the thing. You must possess some level of empathy. <\/p>\n
George acknowledged that there had been some errors along the line, though. They were taught Italian, he said to CBS Mornings. We don’t speak Italian, though. <\/p>\n
Now we’ve given them a language they can use to damage us, he continued. And neither of us truly understands what they’re saying. <\/p>\n
George mentioned in the same interview that his son Alexander doesn’t like any of his prior acting roles. <\/p>\n
George recalled, \u2018Alexander’s favorite superhero is Batman, and I ask, ‘What’s your favorite superhero?’\u2019 and he exclaims, <\/p>\n
\u2018Batman.\u2019 Then I mention that I was Batman. \u2019Yes, but not anymore,\u2019he adds. If only he were aware of its truth. <\/p>\n

George expressed to ET his hopes for the future, which are the same as those of all parents.
\nIt involves being aware of other people. The guiding principle in my family has always been to <\/p>\n
challenge powerful individuals and support weaker ones.\u2019 And if you are able to do it, your life has been excellent.<\/p>\n
George told the Hollywood Reporter, \u2018I just feel lucky every single day of my life.\u2019 He and Amal welcomed twins with surprise, but they were happy to be parents of two. <\/p>\n
George remarked, “I kept thinking there was a mistake as we just sat there, staring at that piece of paper they give you. <\/p>\n
He did, however, do well as a father. Yet, he admitted, \u2018I didn’t know I would be a really good diaper person. <\/p>\n
George has become more transparent about the various phases of fatherhood as his children have grown. <\/p>\n
George and Amal talked to Entertainment Tonight in September 2022 about how their 5-year-olds were developing and learning. <\/p>\n
Although Amal made light of the fact that her 5-year-olds could communicate in a language that neither <\/p>\n
she nor George could comprehend, it was obvious that she was amazed by their exceptional capacity for learning. <\/p>\n
George received honors at the Kennedy Center Honors in December 2022. Throughout the week leading up to the honor, he received a lot of acclaim from his colleagues, <\/p>\n
and he discussed this with Extra. Salman and Amal also talked about how thrilled and somewhat anxious they were to tell their 5-year-old twins the news. <\/p>\n
Amal expressed hope that one day she will be able to share with her children some of the remarks made about her husband during the weekend. <\/p>\n
Not everything that has been stated about me, George retorted. I mean, we’ll alter as required, Amal retorted. <\/p>\n
George subsequently responded, \u2018Oh, they’re 5 so right now I’m golden,\u2019 when asked if his kids believe he’s the \u2018coolest dad.\u2019 We are aware that things will change, but for the moment, I’m in the clear. <\/p>\n
