She went on: \u2018Even though I’m totally in love with my children, I also understand that I need to make an effort to improve myself every day. <\/p>\n
Because I’ve relied heavily on my impulses rather than my brains throughout most of my life, I’ve had to wake up and tell myself to use my brain instead of my impulses.\u2019<\/p>\n
Raising Dexter and Duke, she continued, has undoubtedly been difficult at times \u2018in the sense that <\/p>\n

Keaton had admitted that she wasn’t totally drawn to motherhood and that her father’s death was part of what led her to rethink her purpose in life and finally led her to adopt. <\/p>\n
In 2008, she spoke with Access Online \u2018The notion I had was more like one I had been having for a very long time. I then dove in.\u2019<\/p>\n
The decision was certainly the right one, since Keaton has now raised both kids into fine individuals. <\/p>\n

Keaton continued, \u2018Not the worst disaster, though. But I really wish I had purchased a man for myself. <\/p>\n
