<\/p>\nAt this point, both Lara and Mara Bavar are eleven years old. When they were born into a normal family in So Paulo, Brazil, neither of them had any melanin in their skin.<\/p>\n
Even though their sister Sheila is black and they have white skin and hair, they have a lot in common with her in many ways.<\/p>\n
Because of the negative, the girls look like they are twins.<\/p>\n
If the chance of having an albino child is 1 in 17,000, then figuring out the chance of having albino twins is much harder than figuring out the chance of having one albino child.<\/p>\n
Nike, Insanis, and Bazaar Kids were all interested in these girls at the same time, which isn’t too strange.<\/p>\n

The girls were invited to take part in a professional picture shoot by Vinicius Terranova, a photographer, and his younger sister, Sheila, who is 13 years old.<\/p>\n
When the final photos were uploaded to Instagram for the first time, they got a lot of likes right away.<\/p>\n

“Their beauty should be seen and appreciated. It’s not very special, but it’s rare; we don’t see this very often.<\/p>\n
This can be seen as a kind of statement about how beauty can be many different things and still be beautiful.<\/p>\n
Even eleven-year-old girls have a hopeful view of their futures. At the moment, they want to become models or artists.<\/p>\n

“I like getting to know new things. I like to make clothes and strike poses and act silly in front of other people.<\/p>\n
The older sister of the twins thinks that she will work in fashion when she grows up.<\/p>\n
That neither sister thinks of her or his physical traits as a flaw, but rather as a great gift that helps her or him stand out from other people.<\/p>\n
Mara agrees with this point of view when she says, “We like to live with such a look.” We like being spotted and are glad that our unique beauty makes us stand out.<\/p>\n
Even though their children were born in Brazil, the parents of the girls were born in Guinea-Bissau.<\/p>\n
