This very interesting form of art can be traced back to dances like the Little Apple and the Carolina Jitterbug. On the other hand, it is possible that the shag comes from Africa.<\/p>\n
Not until the 1960s did people start using the word “shag.” People didn’t start having tournaments for shag dance until the 1970s.<\/p>\n
Even the 1989 movie Shag, which starred Phoebe Cates and Bridget Fonda, was based on the craze.<\/p>\n
Sam and his daughter Sydney’s performance at the National Shag Dancing Championships was nothing short of amazing, both for the crowd and the judges. It is clear why they were able to do better than their competitors.<\/p>\n
