<\/p>\nThis crazy story really happened in Northern California.<\/p>\n
Casey Hathaway was three years old at the time. One day, he and his friends were having fun playing in front of his grandmother’s garden.<\/p>\n
When he suddenly became interested in something, the young boy ran out into the thick woods close to the house.<\/p>\n
After the strange thing happened, no one could ever find the child again.<\/p>\n
Because the little house was in the middle of the woods, it was very easy for a child to get lost there.<\/p>\n
Even though the people who came to help him looked for him everywhere, they couldn’t find little Casey.<\/p>\n

Even though all of his grandma’s friends were looking for him and crossing their fingers, no one could figure out where he went.<\/p>\n
The poor little thing ran away, and it wasn’t found again until two days later near where it had been.<\/p>\n
A woman was not too far away when she heard what sounded like a baby crying in the distance.<\/p>\n
Even though this was the case, the woman and her dogs went in the direction of the sound, but they couldn’t find anyone.<\/p>\n
So, when she called the police again, they were able to search the area more carefully, and they were able to find the missing child in the end.<\/p>\n
But the child was later found wet and shivering in the trees where he had been left.<\/p>\n
After Casey got better, he was asked about what happened that day, and he said that he was with someone else while he was in the bush.<\/p>\n
He told them that a bear saved his life by keeping him warm by covering him in the fur of another bear.<\/p>\n
